Idemitsu Renewables entered the US Market in 2010 as Solar Frontier Americas marketing thin-film solar modules. The company evolved to become an experienced utility-scale solar developer by developing, building, and selling utility scale solar projects.
In 2018, the company expanded its capabilities to become an owner and operator of large solar and energy storage projects. This expansion aligned Idemitsu Renewables with the global strategy of its parent company, Idemitsu Kosan.
